Our History

Desk-Link was formed in 1988 with the vision of offering a service orientated approach to manufacturing office furniture. The company's founders were from the retailing and distribution sector of office products and were conscious of some manufacturers failings. The company quickly became established as a major force in the office furniture industry with a combination of quality products at competitive prices coupled with high levels of service.

A commitment to embracing new technology gave Desk-Link a key competency allowing it to stand out from the competitors. The Tungsten range was launched in 1995 achieving high regard and is the flagship range in its product portfolio.

Present

At present the company is enjoying accelerated growth compared to the industry as a whole as it continually pushes towards improvement. Recently it acquired a modern 111,000 sq ft factory enabling continuing growth. Currently four ranges are manufactured, each serving a particular niche of the market. The company has acquired a seating manufacturer and this will continue the well balanced growth. Desk-Link's introduction of the Porta Freedom product reveals its contribution in pushing the frontiers of innovation.
